The Ticonderoga-class guided–missile cruiser USS Anzio (CG 68) gets underway after a four day port visit to Naples, Italy, along with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Elements of the Dwight D. Eisenhower, Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 8, departed their homeports on Oct. 3, for a regularly scheduled deployed in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO).
