JS Hyuga (DDH 181)
The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force helicopter destroyer JS Hyuga (DDH 181) prepares to turn from a formation of U.S. Navy and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ships during Annual Exercise 2011. Annual Exercise is a bi-lateral field training exercise designed to practice and evaluate the coordination procedures and interoperability elements required to respond to the defense of Japan and the Asia-Pacific region. JS Kurama (DDH 144)
The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force helicopter destroyer JS Kurama (DDH 144) test fires chafe as part of the integrated maritime exercise Koa Kai. HMS Gotland

BAE El Oro (CM 14)
The Ecuadorian corvette BAE El Oro (CM 14) sits pier side in Panama City, Panama before beginning at sea exercises during PANAMAX 2005. PANAMAX is a training exercise in defense of the Panama Canal involving 15 countries. The Panama Canal is critical to the free flow of trade and goods in the Western Hemisphere and the entire world. BAE El Oro (CM 14)
Ecuadorian naval war ship Corvette BAE El Oro (CM 14) glides through the Pacific Ocean in search of a merchant vessel suspected of carrying illegal goods during exercise PANAMAX 2006. Civil, naval and air forces from 18 countries have gathered in Panama to conduct the multi-national training event for the defense of the Panama Canal. PANAMAX 2006 is multinational training exercise tailored to the defense of the Panama Canal, involving civil and military forces from the region.
