BNS Independência (F44)
BNS Independência (F44) at anchor in the Bedford Basin, Halifax,Nova Scotia during the International Fleet Review by H.M. the Queen on 29th June 2010. Independencia is a Niteroi class frigate commissioned into service in the Brazilian Navy in 1979.She was the fifth ship out of six in her class and the first in her class to be built in the Brazilian Navy Shipyard in Rio de Janeiro.
