FGS Auerbach (M1093)

Kiel (ots) - Am 31. Januar um 10 Uhr verlässt das zum 5. Minensuchgeschwader gehörige Hohlstablenkboot "Auerbach/Oberpfalz" seinen Heimathafen Kiel und nimmt Kurs in Richtung libanesische Küste. Dort wird sie das Minenjagdboot "Passau" ablösen, um sich als Teil des deutschen Marineeinsatzverbandes an der Mission UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) zu beteiligen. ©Bundeswehr/ PIZ Marine.

FGS Homburg (M 1069)

Das letzte Winken für die nächsten 4 Monate. Kiel (ots) - Am Freitag, den 27. Januar 2012, wird das Minenjagdboot "Homburg" um 10 Uhr seinen Heimathafen in Kiel verlassen und sich dem ständigen NATO-Minenabwehr-Verband 1 ("Standing NATO Mine Counter Measures Group 1", SNMCMG 1) anschließen. ©Bundeswehr/Ann-Kathrin Fischer.

EML Vaindlo (M416)

The EML Vaindlo (M416) is built in West-Germany, in a Krögerwerft shipyard in Rendsburg. The vessel was launched on the 16 May 1966 and she entered service a year later in 1967. The German Navy decommissioned FGS Undine (M2662) in late 1990s and gave the vessels to the Estonian Navy to operate. (Photo: Estonian Defence Forces)
