HMAS Kanimbla (L51)
ROKS Dokdo (LPH 6111)
The Republic of Korea Navy amphibious landing ship ROKS Dokdo (LPH 6111) is underway in the Sea of Japan with the guided-missile destroyers USS Lassen (DDG 82) and USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93). The Republic of Korea and the United States are conducting the combined alliance maritime and air readiness exercise "Invincible Spirit" in the seas east of the Korean peninsula from July 25-28, 2010. – The Republic of Korea Navy’s Munmu The Great (KDX II) takes its place as part of a formation with USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) in conjunction with Exercise Reception, Staging, Onward Movement and Integration/Foal Eagle (RSOI/FE) 2007. The exercise demonstrates the U.S. commitment to the ROK/U.S. alliance and enhances combat readiness of ROK and U.S. supporting forces through combined and joint training. ROKS Munmu the Great (DDH976)
The Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) Munmu The Great (KDX II) participates in exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC). Eight nations are participating in RIMPAC, the world's largest biennial maritime exercise. Conducted in the waters off Hawaii, RIMPAC brings together military forces from Australia, Canada, Chile, Peru, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States.
