JS Kashima (TV 3508)

NRP Bartolomeu Dias (F-333)
A Portuguese Navy visit, board, search and seizure team in a rigid-hull inflatable boat returns to the Portuguese Navy frigate NRP Bartolomeu Dias (F-333) after conducting an inspection of the Military Sealift Command container and roll-on/roll-off ship USNS LCPL Roy H. Wheat (T-AK 3016) during the at sea portion of exercise Phoenix Express 2010 (PE 10). PE-10 is a two-week exercise designed to strengthen maritime partnership and enhance stability in the region through increased interoperability and cooperation among partners from Africa, Europe and United States. HMDS Niels Juel (F 354)
Frigate HMDS Niels Juel (F 354) is currently underway participating in Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2005. In its 33rd year, BALTOPS is a maritime and land international exercise, co-hosted by Latvia and the United States, which includes 11 nations, 4,100 people, 40 ships, 28 aircraft and two submarines in the spirit of "Partnership for Peace (PFP)." BALTOPS 2005 improves interoperability with allies and PFP countries by conducting peace support operations at sea to include a combined amphibious landing and a scenario dealing with potential real world crisis.
